Hello, I’m Olivia Hayward, having recently completed my Bachelor of Primary education qualification, I am excited to use my experience and skills to support our preschoolers transition to primary school. I have a passion for empowering our children practically, following their interests and building life-long learners.
Having travelled extensively, originally from Kaiaua (near Thames), I am loving life at Papamoa Beach with my family of six. We are active in our school community and have many hobbies. You may find us at the beach, skate park, or running from one after-school activity to another. I absolutely love the ocean, riding my SUP and playing my guitar (which I’m learning).
My teaching practice put’s the child at the centre, nurturing their social and emotional wellbeing, while building their experience and knowledge to transition to school. Bloom is a wonderful environment to allow our children to grow as a whole-being, something of which I believe in greatly.
I am thrilled to teach within a team that supports our children to learn through play, follow their creative path, grow their identity, and foster resilience alongside empathy. I feel honoured to be part of your child’s life journey, I look forward to getting to know all the children at Bloom while building relationships with them and their whanau.
