Kia Ora! My name is Aimee, and I am excited to be a part of the ‘Playful Preschoolers’ team at Bloom. Born and raised in the mighty Waikato, I relocated to Papamoa in February 2021 for the sunshine and the sea.

I have been working alongside children for the past 5 years, and hold a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) from the University of Waikato. Shortly after graduating, I chose to follow my passion for play-based learning and began my career as a preschool teacher in Hamilton . I am excited to be sharing my passion for childcare with the Bloom whanau, and strive to build positive, personal relationships and keep them at the centre of my practice. My teaching philosophy is based off the notion of teaching the ‘whole child’, and I highly value meeting the academic, emotional, cultural, and social desires and needs of a child and their whanau.

When not at Bloom, you’ll find me soaking up the sun on the beach, dancing, socialising, and travelling New Zealand.
