Kia Ora, I’m Kellie, currently a Teacher in Training working towards my Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood Education. I am so lucky to be able to study while I work at Bloom and get to develop my teaching practice with such a wonderful, passionate team. With three children of my own, all of whom have been in care at ECE centres, I am passionate about providing the best care possible for your little ones and understand how important it is for parents to know we genuinely care. That’s also why I chose Bloom for my son James to attend, you may see him having fun and lots of cuddles in the Teeny Toddlers Room. Papamoa is my home, I have lived in the Bay of Plenty since I was 4 years old, growing up my mum was a primary teacher and I loved helping her at school whenever I could.
I am passionate about supporting children’s well-being and building strong relationships based on respect and loving care. At Bloom, our philosophy is wonderful in that we support free play and it is such a joy to support childrens learning journeys with this, so much magic happens when children are offered the freedom to explore. All tamariki deserve to feel loved, safe and cared for. I look forward to getting to know you and your children.
